Festival 2015

The first festival took place from October 8th-11th at various venues along the north shore of Nova Scotia. Some of the key events are below.

Highlights


Top Canadian producer Bill Niven of Idlewild Films, Lukas Hassel a film maker and actor from New York and Steve Brazil of Bruised Productions share a joke at the International Co-Production Panel at Thinkers Lodge in Pugwash.

The Sunrise Film Festival in 2015 attracted film makers and visitors from India, Hawaii, New York, Dubai, Florida, Colorado and Taiwan. We were delighted to welcome Abhini and Sohan Roy and thanks to Queen Lili Restaurant of Pictou who provided a fantastic Indian buffet for the screening of the film "Dam 999".
